Comment apply un CCU (Ship Upgrade)

Si vous avez acheté un Cross Chassis Upgrade (CCU) pour upgrade un Ship vers un autre, voici les étapes à suivre :

1. Claim l’item
Suivez les étapes de livraison ci-dessus pour ajouter le CCU à votre RSI Hangar.

2. Trouver le CCU dans le Hangar

Note importante :

Crusader Genesis Starliner Standalone Ship Gameplay Guide

The Crusader Genesis Starliner is a large civilian passenger transport ship built for Star Citizen players who want commercial airline gameplay, long-range passenger routes, luxury travel service, and one of the more distinct non-combat career ships in the game. Designed by Crusader Industries, the Genesis is not a cargo hauler, gunship, explorer, or daily driver. It is a dedicated starliner made for players who want to operate scheduled flights, move passengers between destinations, and build a transport business around comfort, reliability, and reputation.

Unlike ships such as the C2 Hercules, Starlancer MAX, or Constellation Taurus, the Genesis is not mainly about freight. Its identity is passenger transport. Official RSI material describes the LH307 Genesis as Crusader’s narrow-body Starliner chassis, most frequently equipped to support 40 passengers and 8 crew, with a modular interior that can be adapted from luxury-oriented staterooms to passenger-free cargo configurations.

The safest product-page positioning is simple: the Genesis Starliner is a long-term passenger transport pledge for players who want a future commercial captain career, not a current everyday ship.

Build Your Crusader Passenger Fleet with the Genesis Starliner

The Genesis Starliner is one of the more unusual Crusader ships for players who want a non-combat business role. If you are looking to acquire this passenger transport ship, you can explore our available options in the Star Citizen Ships and Vehicles Collection.

What Makes the Genesis Starliner Valuable?

The Genesis Starliner is valuable because it gives players access to a gameplay role that most ships do not cover: commercial passenger transport. Many Star Citizen ships focus on combat, cargo, mining, salvage, or exploration. The Genesis is different. It is built around service, scheduling, comfort, reputation, and moving people across the verse.

Its main appeal is the airline fantasy. Instead of hauling boxes or fighting enemies, a Genesis owner can imagine running passenger routes, setting ticket prices, choosing destinations, upgrading comfort levels, and building a transport reputation. RSI’s passenger transport design notes describe route selection, ticket pricing, departure times, passenger demand, competition, and reputation as core parts of the planned passenger transport loop.

For players who want a unique long-term career ship, the Genesis is more interesting than a normal cargo hauler. It represents a future civilian business path rather than a current combat or freight meta pick.

Passenger Transport Gameplay Role

The Genesis Starliner’s main role is commercial passenger transport. It is designed for players who want to operate like a starship captain running scheduled passenger service between landing zones, stations, and major travel hubs.

In long-term gameplay planning, the Genesis fits several roles:

Gameplay Use Why the Genesis Fits
Passenger routes Built specifically for moving passengers between destinations.
Commercial captain gameplay RSI Q&A describes the Starliner as an economic resource and a way to build a business around seat pricing and route demand.
Luxury transport Passenger transport design notes describe the Starliner as a long-range Luxury Class transport ship.
Organization transport Can serve as a protected group transport or mobile headquarters concept.
Route and reputation gameplay Planned passenger systems involve reputation, ticket sales, passenger satisfaction, and schedule reliability.
Modular interior planning Concept material supports different passenger and cargo-oriented interior layouts.

The Genesis should not be described as a general-purpose ship. It is best positioned as a future passenger transport platform.

Passenger Comfort and Reputation

Passenger comfort is central to the Genesis fantasy. RSI’s passenger transport design notes describe multiple comfort classes, including Coach, Business Class, First Class, and Luxury Class. They also describe reputation as one of the most important business assets for passenger transport, affected by safe delivery and passenger satisfaction.

This makes the Genesis different from cargo ships. A cargo box does not care about comfort. Passengers do. That means the Genesis is likely to reward players who care about route safety, onboard service, travel time, comfort upgrades, and reliability.

The Genesis Starliner is the ship you choose when you want to build a transport reputation, not just move cargo from one place to another.

Modular Interior Utility

The Genesis Starliner’s modular interior is one of its important long-term selling points. Official concept material says the interior can be adapted with aftermarket options ranging from luxury-oriented staterooms to passenger-free cargo configurations.

This gives the Genesis more flexibility than a fixed-seat passenger shuttle. In theory, owners may be able to configure the ship around different passenger markets, comfort levels, or alternative transport needs.

The Genesis is designed around modular passenger-service layouts, but exact module options and final implementation should be treated as future gameplay expectations until the ship is completed.

Passenger Business and Route Planning

The Genesis is not just a big passenger cabin. It is tied to a planned business loop. RSI’s passenger transport design notes describe players choosing destinations, setting ticket prices, specifying departure and arrival times, publishing flights, and receiving passenger demand based on traffic, competition, reputation, timing, and ticket class.

This makes the Genesis appealing to players who enjoy economic gameplay. The goal is not only to fly well. The goal is to operate well.

A Genesis owner may need to think about:

Business Factor Why It Matters
Route choice Popular destinations may sell more seats but have more competition.
Ticket pricing Higher fares may increase profit but require better service.
Comfort class Higher comfort passengers may be more demanding.
Reputation Safer, more reliable service should improve business performance.
Crew quality Passenger service may involve onboard tasks, emergencies, and support roles.
Operating costs Fuel, supplies, upgrades, and repairs may affect profit.

Long-Range Travel Identity

The Genesis is designed with long-range travel in mind. RSI Q&A says the ship includes extensive backup systems focused on crew and passenger safety and should be suitable for traveling distant reaches of space.

Passenger transport design notes also describe the Starliner as a long-range Luxury Class transport ship with fuel-efficient engines, private sleeping cabins, and comfort systems intended to reduce discomfort during extended voyages.

This makes the Genesis more than a local shuttle. Its fantasy is closer to a commercial long-haul aircraft: safe, comfortable, scheduled, and built for distance.

Defense and Safety Expectations

The Genesis Starliner is not a combat ship. Its defense identity is about protection and escape, not fighting. RSI’s Genesis Q&A says the stock model is intended to be defensive, with a turret used as a deterrent, plus systems such as chaff and flares for escaping danger.

The Genesis Starliner is built to keep passengers safe, but its best combat plan is avoidance, route planning, and escort support rather than direct confrontation.

Crew and Onboard Roles

The common Genesis concept layout supports eight crew members, which gives it a clear multi-crew service identity.

A practical Genesis operation may include:

Crew Role Purpose
Captain / Pilot Handles route planning, flight, schedule, and overall safety.
Co-Pilot Supports navigation, systems, communication, and flight management.
Cabin Crew Handles passenger service, comfort, and onboard issues.
Engineer Maintains ship systems during long flights.
Security Crew Protects passengers and handles internal incidents.
Medical Support Responds to passenger illness or injury during travel.
Gunner / Defensive Operator Uses defensive systems and deterrent weapons if needed.

A practical Genesis Starliner operation should feel more like running a passenger service than simply flying a large ship. The captain needs to choose a route, understand passenger demand, set a schedule, and decide whether the trip is worth the operating cost and risk. Cabin crew would matter because passenger comfort, onboard service, delays, safety issues, and emergencies can all affect the transport experience. Security and engineering roles are also important because a civilian starliner should avoid danger rather than fight through it. In real use, the Genesis should be treated as a planned commercial operation: prepare the route, board passengers, maintain comfort, avoid unsafe space, arrive on time, and protect the company’s reputation.

Medical and Passenger Care Notes

The Genesis should not be described as a dedicated medical ship. However, passenger transport design notes say every passenger transport ship includes at least one medical supply cabinet with diagnostic equipment and treatments for passenger illness. This means the Genesis has a passenger-care identity, but it should not be compared directly to ships like the Apollo Triage, Apollo Medivac, or Terrapin Medic.

Cargo Conversion and Utility Expectations

The Genesis has some cargo flexibility, but it should not be sold as a normal cargo hauler. RSI Q&A explains that its listed cargo capacity includes personal passenger storage and below-deck main storage, and that removing seats, cabins, and other equipment would increase available cargo space beyond the stated value. This makes the Genesis interesting as a modular chassis, but its main identity remains passenger transport. Cargo conversion should be described as an option or concept, not the primary reason to buy it.

The Genesis can be configured away from passengers in concept, but buyers should understand that its main identity is still commercial transport, not freight hauling.

Current Loaner Note

Because the Genesis Starliner is not Flight Ready, RSI’s current Loaner Ship Matrix provides a Hercules C2 as the loaner for Genesis Starliner owners. The same matrix explains that loaners exist to let players use something in the current Alpha until unavailable ships become Flight Ready, and that loaners are not permanent additions to the fleet. Current loaners can change, so buyers should always check the latest RSI Loaner Ship Matrix before purchasing.

Genesis Starliner vs Other Star Citizen Ships

Ship Fleet Option Primary Core Role Compared with Genesis Starliner
E1 Spirit Small Luxury Passenger Transport The E1 is smaller and more approachable. The Genesis is larger, more commercial, and more airline-like.
890 Jump Luxury Superyacht The 890 Jump is a private luxury flagship. The Genesis is more of a commercial people carrier.
600i Touring Private Luxury Touring The 600i Touring is a private yacht-style ship, not a commercial passenger business platform.
Constellation Phoenix Luxury VIP Transport The Phoenix is better for small VIP travel. The Genesis is better for scheduled passenger service.
C2 Hercules Heavy Cargo / Vehicle Transport The C2 is better for current cargo and vehicles. The Genesis is about future passenger transport.
Mercury Star Runner Courier / Data Runner The Mercury moves cargo and information. The Genesis moves passengers.
Banu Merchantman Trade Bazaar / Heavy Cargo The Merchantman is a mobile market and alien trade ship. The Genesis is a civilian airline platform.
Endeavor Hope Hospital Platform The Endeavor Hope is medical-focused. The Genesis may support passenger care, but it is not a hospital ship.

Genesis Starliner vs E1 Spirit

The E1 Spirit is better for players who want a smaller, more approachable luxury passenger ship with a lighter ownership footprint. The Genesis Starliner is better for players who want a larger commercial passenger platform built around airline-style route planning, crew service, and long-term transport business gameplay. Choose the E1 for smaller VIP passenger service. Choose the Genesis for future commercial starliner operations.

Genesis Starliner vs 890 Jump

The 890 Jump is better for players who want a private luxury flagship, social space, and superyacht ownership. The Genesis Starliner is better for players who want commercial passenger transport rather than private luxury cruising. Choose the 890 Jump for personal luxury and prestige. Choose the Genesis if your goal is to operate passenger routes and build a civilian transport business.

Genesis Starliner vs C2 Hercules

The C2 Hercules is better for current cargo hauling, vehicle transport, and practical live gameplay. The Genesis Starliner is better for players who want a future passenger transport career and are comfortable owning an In Development ship. The C2 may be useful as a loaner, but the Genesis itself should not be treated as a cargo ship. Choose the C2 for current cargo utility. Choose the Genesis for long-term passenger transport.

Genesis Starliner Strengths and Limitations

Strategic Strengths Operational Limitations
Clear passenger transport identity gives it a unique civilian career role. Not Flight Ready; buyers should treat it as a long-term pledge.
Typical concept layout supports 40 passengers and 8 crew. Passenger gameplay is not the same as current cargo or combat gameplay.
Modular interior creates future layout flexibility. Exact module options and final systems may change.
Commercial captain fantasy with route, pricing, and reputation gameplay. Not a combat ship, hauler, or exploration platform.
Long-range luxury transport identity gives it useful roleplay and business appeal. Full value depends on future passenger transport systems.
Current loaner gives owners a usable ship while waiting. Loaners are not permanent and may change.

Who Should Buy the Genesis Starliner?

The Genesis Starliner is best for players who want a long-term passenger transport ship and are comfortable waiting for future gameplay systems. It is especially suitable for civilian career players, roleplay groups, transport organizations, commercial fleet planners, Crusader fans, and players who want something very different from combat or cargo ships.

It is also a good choice for players who like business-style gameplay. The Genesis is not about winning fights or moving the biggest cargo load. It is about routes, passengers, schedules, service quality, comfort, and reputation.

Players who want a current usable cargo ship should choose the C2 Hercules, Starlancer MAX, Taurus, Hull C, or Caterpillar. Players who want luxury private transport should look at the 890 Jump, 600i Touring, or Constellation Phoenix. But for players who want a future commercial airline career in Star Citizen, the Genesis Starliner is one of the more direct ships for that role.

Genesis Starliner FAQ

Is the Genesis Starliner worth buying in Star Citizen?

The Genesis Starliner is worth buying if you want a long-term passenger transport ship and are comfortable with concept-stage ownership. It is not a good choice for players who need a current Flight Ready daily ship, but it is appealing for future civilian transport gameplay.

Is the Genesis Starliner Flight Ready?

No. RSI’s current Genesis ship page lists the ship as In Development, so product pages should not describe it as Flight Ready.

What is the main role of the Genesis Starliner?

The Genesis Starliner’s main role is passenger transport. Official passenger transport design notes describe the Starliner as a long-range Luxury Class transport ship with large seating capacity, fuel-efficient engines, private cabins, and comfort systems for extended voyages.

How many passengers can the Genesis Starliner carry?

Official concept material says the Genesis-class is most frequently equipped to support 40 passengers. Because the interior is modular, final or alternate layouts may vary.

How many crew does the Genesis Starliner support?

Official concept material describes the common Genesis-class configuration as supporting 8 crew. This fits its commercial starliner identity, where crew may handle flight, systems, passenger service, safety, and onboard support.

Does the Genesis Starliner have cargo?

Yes, but cargo should be explained carefully. RSI Q&A says the listed cargo capacity includes passenger personal storage and main below-deck storage, and that removing seats and cabins would increase available cargo beyond the stated amount. The Genesis is still best understood as a passenger ship first.

Can the Genesis Starliner be used as a cargo ship?

In concept, the modular interior can support passenger-free cargo configurations, but the ship should not be sold as a normal cargo hauler. Its main identity is passenger transport, while cargo conversion is a secondary modular possibility.

What loaner does the Genesis Starliner have?

RSI’s current Loaner Ship Matrix lists the Hercules C2 as the Genesis Starliner loaner. Loaners exist because some pledged ships are not yet available in the PU, and they are not permanent additions to the fleet.

Is the Genesis Starliner good for combat?

No. The Genesis is not a combat ship. RSI Q&A describes the stock model as defensive, with a turret intended as a deterrent and systems such as chaff and flares to help escape danger.

Can the Genesis Starliner fly in atmosphere?

RSI Q&A says the Starliner was concepted to function in both atmosphere and space, with VTOL-style landing design elements in its wings. Final flight behavior may change before release.

Is the Genesis Starliner better than the E1 Spirit?

The Genesis is better for players who want larger commercial passenger transport. The E1 Spirit is better for smaller luxury passenger service and a more approachable ship size. Choose the E1 for smaller-scale VIP travel. Choose the Genesis for airline-style passenger operations.

Should I choose the Genesis Starliner or E1 Spirit?

Choose the E1 Spirit if you want a smaller and more approachable luxury passenger ship for VIP-style service and lighter crew needs. Choose the Genesis Starliner if you want a larger commercial passenger transport platform focused on scheduled routes, airline-style operations, crew service, and long-term civilian business gameplay. The E1 is the better small passenger ship, while the Genesis is the better future commercial starliner.

Is the Genesis Starliner better than the 890 Jump?

They serve different roles. The 890 Jump is a luxury private superyacht, while the Genesis Starliner is a commercial passenger transport. Choose the 890 Jump for private luxury ownership. Choose the Genesis for passenger business gameplay.

Is the Genesis Starliner better than the C2 Hercules?

The C2 Hercules is better for current cargo and vehicle transport. The Genesis Starliner is better for future passenger transport gameplay. The current loaner may be a C2, but that does not make the Genesis itself a cargo ship.

Does the Genesis Starliner have good long-term value?

Yes, the Genesis Starliner has useful long-term value for players who want passenger transport, civilian business gameplay, and Crusader commercial ship ownership. Its main limitation is timing: the ship is still in development, and its full value depends on future passenger transport systems.
