Frequently Asked Questions

How long does delivery usually take?

  • Star Citizen ship, ccu, paints, items orders are usually delivered within 20–30 minutes. In rare cases, delivery may take up to 12 hours due to order volume, RSI gifting limits, account status, or manual verification requirements.
  • In most cases, we do not allow ship deliveries to exceed 12 hours unless there is an exceptional issue such as RSI system limitations, account restrictions, or required customer verification.

Is my ship order protected?

  • Yes. Security and reliability are our top priorities. All ships sold by LTI Hangar come from our own inventory, with no external sellers or unknown third-party suppliers involved.
  • Each ship order is handled with clear delivery records, allowing the delivery process to be reviewed and traced if support is ever needed. We also provide 6-month after-sale protection for eligible delivery-related issues.
  • This level of own-stock control, traceable delivery, and after-sale protection is not commonly offered by many third-party marketplaces, which is why many customers choose LTI Hangar for safer Star Citizen ship purchases.

What is the 6-month after-sale protection? Why Other Marketplaces Cannot Offer This?

  • In the extremely rare event that an issue occurs with an item during delivery or within up to 6 months after delivery has been completed, we will conduct an investigation. If it is determined that the issue was caused by our fault, we will provide either a replacement or a refund.
  • To help us review the case accurately, you may be required to assist us by providing relevant evidence, such as RSI Hangar screenshots, order details, and RSI Hangar Log records.
  • The RSI Hangar Log can help track the status and history of each ship, including whether the item was claimed, exchanged, melted, transferred, or otherwise changed after delivery. We will review the evidence you provide to determine the cause of the issue.
  • This level of protection is not commonly offered by many third-party marketplaces because they often rely on external sellers or mixed inventory sources. At LTI Hangar, all ships come from our own inventory, and each order has clear delivery records, allowing us to provide safer and more reliable support.

Can I request a refund after claiming the ship, ccu, paints, items?

  • Once the RSI gift has been claimed, the ship, ccu, paints, items becomes bound to the receiving RSI account. Due to the limitations of the Star Citizen gifting system, a claimed ship normally cannot be gifted again, returned, reversed, or re-delivered. For this reason, claimed items are normally not eligible for cancellation or refund.
  • A correction, replacement, or refund may only be provided if we confirm that the issue was caused by our side, such as a wrong item being sent, an order delivery error, or another verified delivery issue caused by us.
  • Before claiming the RSI gift, please make sure you are logged into the correct RSI account. Once the gift is claimed to the wrong account, it normally cannot be moved to another account.

What happens if the wrong ship, ccu, paints, items is delivered?

If we confirm that the wrong item was delivered due to our error, we will review the case and provide a correction, replacement, or refund where applicable. Please contact us with your order number, checkout email, and clear screenshots of your RSI Hangar.

Why are the names of the Star Citizen ships I received different?

Standalone CCU'ed is a complete ship or vehicle. It is not an upgrade! CCU'ed simply means that it was created by upgrading a smaller ship or vehicle to the one you are buying. Please also note that in the gift email, only the ship that was used as the base for upgrading will be named. Please don't worry, the actual ship you will see in your hangar will be the one you've ordered.

For example, this is how a CCU'ed Polaris looks like in hangar on RSI website.

Crusader C2 Hercules Standalone Ship Gameplay Guide

The Crusader C2 Hercules Starlifter is a heavy cargo ship built for Star Citizen players who want large-scale hauling, vehicle transport, and a practical freight ship currently available in the game. Designed by Crusader Industries, the C2 is the civilian cargo-focused variant of the Hercules family, offering more cargo capacity than the M2 and A2 while keeping the same large internal bay that makes the Hercules platform so useful.

Unlike the Hull C, which is more focused on station-to-station bulk freight, the C2 Hercules is valued for its internal cargo bay, large ramps, vehicle-loading convenience, and flexible landing-zone utility. It can carry trade goods, ground vehicles, mission cargo, and organization supplies, making it one of the easier large cargo ships to understand and use.

Official RSI material lists the C2 Hercules as a Heavy Freight ship with a 696 SCU cargo bay, and RSI’s cargo guide describes it as a cargo industry standard with useful hauling value.

Build Your Cargo Fleet with the C2 Hercules

The C2 Hercules remains one of the more useful choices for players who want a large cargo ship without moving into more specialized or less flexible haulers. If you are looking to acquire this Crusader heavy freighter, you can explore our available options in the Star Citizen Ships and Vehicles Collection.

C2 Hercules Key Specifications

The C2 Hercules dominates the civilian logistics market by offering unmatched internal storage flexibility. Below are the key specifications that define its current operational performance in Star Citizen.

Specification Crusader C2 Hercules Gameplay Meaning
Manufacturer Crusader Industries Premium manufacturer known for clean design, strong handling, and high-end large ship engineering.
Role Heavy Freight / Vehicle Transport Built for cargo hauling, large vehicle transport, and high-volume logistics.
Status Flight Ready The C2 Hercules was added as a playable ship in Alpha 3.13.1.
Cargo Capacity 696 SCU A large internal cargo capacity for practical hauling, vehicle transport, and logistics.
Vehicle Utility Large front and rear ramps Makes loading vehicles and cargo much easier than many enclosed ships.
Armor Identity Medium armor reference Less armored than the M2, but more cargo-efficient.
Crew Style Solo-capable, better with support Can be used by one player, but crew support improves safety and efficiency.
Core Gameplay Cargo, vehicle transport, logistics Best used for trading, supply runs, vehicle movement, and organization support.

Note: Star Citizen ship specifications may change during future balance updates. RSI’s Ship Matrix also states that current vehicle specifications may change during design and game balancing, so cargo, components, and performance values should be treated as gameplay-reference information rather than permanent final values.

What Makes the C2 Hercules Valuable?

The C2 Hercules is valuable because it gives players a useful mix of cargo capacity, vehicle transport, and everyday practicality. Some ships carry more cargo on paper, but many of them are more restrictive, more specialized, or harder to use in common gameplay situations.

The C2’s main advantage is its internal cargo bay. You can use it for trading, hauling mission cargo, carrying ground vehicles, moving supplies, or supporting organization events. This makes it much more flexible than external-cargo ships that depend heavily on station logistics.

For many cargo players, the C2 is appealing because it feels capable without being too complicated. It is large, but not capital-scale. It can haul serious volume, but it can still land and load vehicles. It is not a warship, but it is not completely helpless either.

Heavy Cargo Gameplay Role

The C2 Hercules is best understood as a large internal-cargo hauler. Its role is simple: move a lot of cargo efficiently while keeping the loading process practical.

Gameplay Use Why the C2 Fits
Cargo trading 696 SCU gives it useful profit potential on large routes.
Vehicle transport Large ramps and internal bay make it useful for ground vehicles.
Organization logistics Can move supplies, gear, mission cargo, and event equipment.
Planet-side hauling More flexible than station-focused external-cargo ships.
Daily large-ship use Easier to understand than many specialized large haulers.

The C2 is not the most armored Hercules variant and not the most destructive one. Its value comes from cargo first.

Vehicle Transport Utility

One of the clearest reasons to buy the C2 is its vehicle transport utility. Official C2 material states that its 696 SCU bay can accommodate two tank-sized vehicles, which is a major reason players use the Hercules platform for more than simple box hauling.

This makes the C2 useful for ground operations, racing events, vehicle delivery, bunker support, exploration groups, and organization logistics. A group can load rovers, tanks, support vehicles, or mission gear and move everything together in one clean transport run.

Compared with ships like the Hull C, the C2 is much better for this kind of practical vehicle work. The Hull C carries more freight, but the C2 is far easier to use when the cargo is physical, vehicle-based, or planet-side.

Cargo Bay and Loading Experience

The C2’s large front and rear ramps make it comfortable for loading and unloading. This is one of the main reasons players like it so much. You do not need to fight with tiny cargo doors or awkward interior layouts.

The cargo bay is straightforward, open, and easy to understand. That matters because cargo gameplay is not only about SCU numbers. It is also about how fast you can load, how safely you can unload, and how easy the ship is to use during real missions.

In real cargo runs, the C2 feels valuable because the loading process is simple and predictable. The pilot can land, open the front or rear ramp, load cargo or vehicles into a clean internal bay, and leave without fighting a cramped layout. This matters during trade routes, vehicle delivery, bunker support, and organization logistics because every minute spent sitting on the ground increases risk.

A fully loaded C2 also changes how players plan routes. Safer landing zones, shorter exposure time, and avoiding unnecessary stops become more important than raw speed. The ship is easy to understand, but a careless cargo run can still lose a large amount of value.

The Crusader C2 Hercules is a high-capacity cargo ship with one of the more practical internal loading layouts in Star Citizen.

Solo and Small-Crew Gameplay

The C2 can be used by a solo player, which is one of its clearer advantages over many large ships. RSI’s cargo guide specifically describes the C2 as a ship that can be operated by a single person, which helps explain why it is so popular among cargo players.

That said, a crew still helps. A second player can watch for threats, help with navigation, manage cargo loading, operate turrets, or provide escort support. A fully loaded C2 can represent a lot of value, so safer routes and smart planning still matter.

For solo traders, the C2 is one of the more appealing large cargo ships because it offers high capacity without forcing a full crew requirement every time you want to fly.

Defense and Risk Management

The C2 is not a dedicated combat ship, but it has enough defensive value to feel safer than many pure haulers. RSI describes the C2 as expanding cargo capacity while sacrificing barely any firepower, which helps explain why it became so popular as a private-sector cargo ship.

However, it should not be sold as a warship. The C2’s job is to survive, escape, and complete cargo runs — not to hunt enemies. Against coordinated attackers, torpedoes, or fighters, it still benefits from escorts and careful route selection.

“The C2 can defend itself better than many cargo ships, but its main value is freight and vehicle transport, not frontline combat.”

C2 Hercules vs Other Star Citizen Ships

As a heavy freight standard, the C2 Hercules frequently goes head-to-head with both conceptual and flight-ready haulers.

Ship Fleet Option Primary Core Role Compared with C2 Hercules
M2 Hercules Military Transport The M2 is better for dangerous military logistics and durability. The C2 is better for cargo efficiency and general hauling.
A2 Hercules Heavy Bomber / Gunship The A2 is built for bombing and combat support. The C2 is much better for cargo and vehicle transport.
Hull C Heavy Freight The Hull C carries far more cargo, but it is more station-logistics focused. The C2 is more flexible for landing zones and vehicles.
Ironclad Armored Cargo Hauler The Ironclad has a tougher armored-freight identity. The C2 is cleaner, Flight Ready, and easier for current vehicle transport.
Caterpillar Modular Cargo / Utility The Caterpillar has stronger modular personality. The C2 offers more cargo volume and easier large-vehicle loading.
Constellation Taurus Medium Cargo / Multi-Role The Taurus is cheaper and more solo-friendly. The C2 is a much larger cargo platform with far more hauling capacity.
Liberator Light Carrier / Vehicle Transport The Liberator is better for carrying ships and vehicles as a staging platform. The C2 is better for current cargo and ground vehicle hauling.

C2 Hercules vs M2 Hercules

The C2 Hercules is better for cargo efficiency, general hauling, and vehicle transport when the main goal is moving goods instead of entering dangerous combat zones. The M2 Hercules is better for armored military logistics and safer transport under threat. If you want the most cargo-focused Hercules variant, choose the C2. If you want more protection and a stronger military transport identity, the M2 is the better fit.

C2 Hercules vs Hull C

The Hull C is better for large station-to-station freight routes because it carries much more cargo, but it is less flexible for planet-side work and vehicle transport. The C2 is better for internal cargo, ground vehicles, landing zones, and mixed logistics. If your goal is maximum bulk freight between stations, the Hull C is stronger. If your goal is flexible hauling with ramps and vehicle access, the C2 is easier to use.

C2 Hercules vs Ironclad

The Ironclad has a tougher armored-cargo identity and may appeal more to players who want a Drake-style heavy freight ship. The C2 is cleaner, Flight Ready, and easier to understand for current cargo and vehicle transport. If you want a current practical hauler with large internal space, the C2 is the safer choice. If you want a more rugged armored hauler concept, the Ironclad is more future-facing.

C2 Hercules Strengths and Limitations

Strategic Strengths Operational Limitations
696 SCU cargo capacity gives the C2 useful hauling value. Not as armored as the M2 Hercules.
Large internal cargo bay is easy to load and unload. Not as combat-capable as the A2 Hercules.
Useful vehicle transport utility with front and rear ramps. Large profile makes it a valuable target when fully loaded.
Flight Ready and practical for current gameplay loops. Less cargo volume than station-focused ships like the Hull C.
Can be operated by solo players more comfortably than many large ships. Still benefits from escorts and support crew on risky routes.
Useful all-around cargo ship for trading, events, and organization logistics. Not a dedicated exploration, medical, or combat ship.

Who Should Buy the C2 Hercules?

The C2 Hercules is best for players who want a serious cargo ship that is still practical and flexible. It is especially suitable for traders, vehicle owners, organization logistics players, racing teams, industrial groups, and anyone who wants to move a lot of cargo without dealing with the limitations of external freight ships.

It is also a useful choice for players who want one large ship that can support many normal gameplay loops. You can use it for cargo trading, vehicle transport, supply runs, event support, and group operations. That makes it one of the more useful large ships for everyday Star Citizen gameplay.

Players who want more armor should consider the M2. Players who want bombing should choose the A2. Players who want maximum station-to-station freight should look at the Hull C. But for players who want a flexible, Flight Ready, high-capacity cargo ship, the C2 Hercules remains one of the safer choices in Star Citizen.
