Star Citizen Alpha 4.10.2 Enters Evocati as Alpha 4.11 Remains Targeted for Q4 2026
Cloud Imperium Games has started Alpha 4.10.2 testing with the Evocati group, beginning the next stage of the Star Citizen 4.10 update cycle only days after Alpha 4.10.1 reached LIVE.
The first Evocati build is listed as 4.10.2-PTU.12702947 and is restricted to Evocati testers.
CIG previously stated that wider PTU waves would follow as testing progresses.
Meanwhile, Alpha 4.11 remains targeted for Q4 2026 on the current Roadmap, following the schedule adjustment announced on September 9.
Alpha 4.10.2 Testing Has Begun
The CIG Development Hub lists the first Alpha 4.10.2 Evocati PTU build as 4.10.2-PTU.12702947.
Its listed audience is:
Evocati Only
Evocati testers operate under NDA. Details publicly released by CIG itself can be treated as official; leaked, reposted, or NDA-only details should not be treated as confirmed simply because they circulate publicly.
For now, the important development is that CIG has published the first Evocati patch-note activity for Alpha 4.10.2.
Wider PTU Waves Are Expected Next
CIG previously stated that Alpha 4.10.2 would begin with Evocati testing before expanding to wider PTU waves.
There is currently no publicly confirmed date for Wave 1, All Waves, or another specific access stage.
Players outside Evocati should therefore wait for an official PTU access announcement before assuming the build is available to them.
Alpha 4.10.1 Remains the Current LIVE Version
Alpha 4.10.1 remains the current LIVE version.
CIG deployed Alpha 4.10.1-live.12660092 on September 16, 2026.
Alpha 4.10.2 is the next test branch in the 4.10.x cycle and should not be confused with the separate Alpha 4.11 update planned later in the year.
Alpha 4.11 Remains Targeted for Q4 2026
The current published Roadmap target for Alpha 4.11 is Q4 2026.
CIG made that adjustment in the September 9, 2026 Roadmap Roundup, saying the change would give its teams more time to focus on Alpha 4.10.x and Alpha 4.11 while further improving the LIVE experience.
Q4 covers October through December, but CIG has not announced a specific Alpha 4.11 release date.
The Q4 window should therefore be treated as a Roadmap target, not a guaranteed launch date.
September 21 “On Track” Wording Was Time-Specific
The September 21 This Week in Star Citizen post initially described Alpha 4.11 development as “on track” and said there were no notable Roadmap changes to report that week.
That wording was subsequently reported as having been edited or removed from the current post.
For that reason, it should not be used as an unconditional statement about Alpha 4.11’s present development status.
The stronger current reference remains the published Roadmap target: Q4 2026.
What Comes Next for Alpha 4.10.2?
The next public milestone to watch will be the expansion of Alpha 4.10.2 beyond Evocati.
Once CIG publishes wider-access patch notes or announces another PTU wave, there should be more official information available about the contents of the update.
Until then, specific features or fixes circulating from NDA-restricted testing should not be presented as confirmed unless CIG has publicly disclosed them.
The 4.10 Cycle Continues
Alpha 4.10.2 shows that CIG is continuing work on the 4.10.x branch while Alpha 4.11 remains targeted for later in the year.
The current public picture is straightforward:
Alpha 4.10.1 is LIVE.
Alpha 4.10.2 has entered Evocati testing.
Alpha 4.11 remains targeted for Q4 2026 on the Roadmap.
The next significant 4.10.2 update should come when CIG expands testing to wider PTU waves or publishes additional official patch information.
