Star Citizen Orison Relief Support Guide: Missions, Rewards & Progress
Game version: Alpha 4.10.1 LIVE | Reviewed: September 18, 2026
Orison Relief Support is a limited-time Star Citizen event about rebuilding Orison after the Nine Tails attack. You can contribute through cargo hauling, smaller medical deliveries, salvage, fabrication, or combat. Eligible contracts advance one personal reward track with six SecondWind weapons and armor rewards.
The event began on September 16, 2026, and is scheduled to end on October 7, 2026. The end date and the 14-contract figure appear in a community repost of the event FAQ; the original FAQ page could not be independently retrieved for this review. The official Alpha 4.10.1 announcement confirms the event's launch. Check the RSI Comm-Link for any schedule changes.
Quick Answer: How to Start Orison Relief Support
- Enter the Stanton system and open mobiGlas → Mission App → Priority.
- Accept a contract whose name begins with Orison Relief.
- Read the assigned pickup, destination, cargo, equipment, or combat objectives before departing.
- Complete the contract and confirm that it is marked complete.
- Open mobiGlas → Journal to check your event progress. Earned milestone items are attributed to your RSI account and can be checked under My Hangar on the RSI website.
You can accept these missions from anywhere in Stanton. You do not need to travel to Orison to find the contracts. The entry point, replayability, Journal location, and account attribution are described in the community repost of the event FAQ.
Before You Start
Choose a contract you can actually complete with your available ship and equipment. A small delivery may suit a starter ship; a large freight order needs much more cargo room; resource gathering calls for a salvage ship; and fabrication needs an Item Fabricator. Combat missions need suitable weapons or a combat-ready ship.
If freight elevators and cargo hand-ins are new to you, read the Star Citizen Cargo Hauling Guide first. It explains the basic mission-cargo workflow without requiring you to buy commodities with your own aUEC.
How to Accept and Track Orison Relief Missions
1. Find the contract
While in Stanton, open the Mission App's Priority tab. Look for a title beginning with Orison Relief. Read the full objective list: an assigned pickup or delivery may be in the microTech area, Orison, or Seraphim Station, depending on the contract. Do not assume that every mission starts in Crusader space.
2. Check the equipment and cargo requirements
Before accepting a large order, check both its SCU requirement and the size of its individual containers. Total capacity alone does not prove that every container will fit through a ship's cargo entrance or attach to its grid. For resource gathering and fabrication, use the material and item names shown in the current contract rather than substituting similar-looking goods.
3. Complete the objective and check the Journal
Follow the mission markers until the contract registers completion. With freight, this usually means depositing the assigned shipment through the specified freight elevator and waiting for the hand-in to register. Afterward, check the Journal. A box sitting on an elevator platform is not evidence that a delivery has been accepted.
Orison Relief Missions: The 13 Community-Documented Contract Names
The event FAQ repost says 14 new contracts are available. The community mission lists available for this review identify 13 names. The table below is therefore a documented selection, not a verified complete list. Contract descriptions, goods, and quantities may differ from earlier PTU records; always follow your LIVE Mission App.
| Activity | Documented contract names | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Medical delivery | Orison Relief: Medical Aid Delivery | Collect and deliver assigned medical items. |
| Supply hauling | Orison Relief: Small Supply Haul; Medium Supply Haul; Large Supply Haul | Transport the shipment assigned by each contract. |
| Resource gathering | Orison Relief: Small Materials Order; Medium Materials Order; Large Materials Order | Gather and deliver the specifically requested construction material. |
| Fabrication | Orison Relief: Small Fabrication Order; Medium Fabrication Order; Large Fabrication Order | Manufacture and deliver the specified TH-01 Propulsors and any separately requested materials. |
| Ground combat | Orison Relief: Neutralize Nine Tails Reprisal | Clear the assigned Nine Tails ground objective. |
| Space combat | Orison Relief: Strike Nine Tails Squad; Stop Nine Tails Regrouping | Destroy the designated ships or complete the assigned encounter. |
These names are recorded by the Limitloot community event guide. The Alpha 4.10.1 LIVE patch-note text reproduced here confirms the broader mission types and providers: Cornerstone Developments handles reconstruction and TH-01 fabrication, Covalex and Ling handle the medical response, and Foxwell handles security. The repost is a copy of patch-note text, not an official RSI-hosted page.
Medical and supply missions
Covalex and Ling missions take supplies from designated pickup points around New Babbage and Port Tressler toward Orison and Seraphim. The current contract specifies the actual route and shipment. Small Supply Haul is a sensible first check if your ship cannot handle a larger load; Medium Supply Haul is the detailed example below.
Resource gathering and fabrication
Materials Orders request specific construction resources. The community list records 4 SCU of Construction Rubble for the Small Materials Order, 12 SCU of Construction Pieces for the Medium, and 25 SCU of Construction Salvage for the Large. Treat those as community-recorded quantities until your current contract confirms them. RMC is not automatically a substitute for the requested material.
For fabrication, the documented Small, Medium, and Large orders ask for 5, 10, and 15 TH-01 Propulsors, respectively. The LIVE patch-note repost says the TH-01 blueprint is attached to the contract and appears in the Item Fabricator terminal, which lists the necessary materials. Use the terminal's actual material requirements; do not rely on an old recipe chart.
Ground and space combat
Foxwell offers ground clearing, ship interception, and wave-based space combat. Follow each objective until the Mission App confirms completion; do not leave a wave encounter simply because the first enemies have been destroyed. These missions offer a route for players who do not want to move freight or gather materials.
Medium Supply Haul: A Detailed Cargo Walkthrough
Important LIVE verification: A PTU-tested community route reports 96 SCU of Medical Supplies in twelve 8-SCU containers, 6,000 event points per solo completion, and 12 successful runs to finish the reported 72,000-point reward track. Those values were recorded during testing, not independently verified against the LIVE Journal for this article. Treat 12 runs as a planning example, not a guaranteed completion count. The author's post is hosted in RSI's community hub and is not an official CIG balance announcement.
Step 1: Accept Medium Supply Haul
In mobiGlas → Mission App → Priority, select Orison Relief: Medium Supply Haul. Check the required commodity, quantity, pickup markers, and delivery marker. If your LIVE contract differs from the PTU example, follow the contract rather than this example's numbers.
Choose a ship whose cargo grid and physical entrance fit the required containers. The PTU author used an ARGO RAFT, but a RAFT is not an event requirement. If you need temporary access to a hauler, see our ship rental guide and verify the current kiosk's availability before paying.
Step 2: Go to the marked pickup
Travel to the pickup location shown in the mission, request landing if necessary, and find the designated freight elevator. The PTU route frequently sent players toward microTech; that is not a fixed pickup address. If several pickup markers appear, check the shipment assigned to each one.
Step 3: Retrieve the assigned cargo
At the freight elevator terminal, locate the mission shipment in the local warehouse or cargo inventory. Stage the assigned containers and raise the elevator. Count the containers and compare the total against the active contract before loading your ship.
Do not buy ordinary Medical Supplies at a commodity kiosk to replace missing mission cargo. Purchased goods should not be assumed to count as the contract's assigned shipment.
Step 4: Load and secure the shipment
Use a suitable tractor beam to move each container into the ship. Place the cargo on the grid where possible, check that nothing blocks the entrance, and close the hold before takeoff. If a container will not fit, stop and reassess your ship choice rather than leaving required freight behind.
Step 5: Deliver to the contract's destination
Follow the active delivery marker. Land, move the assigned containers onto the designated freight elevator, and use its terminal to submit or transfer the shipment into storage. Watch for the mission objective to update. If it lists another delivery or completion action, finish that action before leaving.
Step 6: Confirm the actual LIVE points
Wait for the contract to show Completed, then open mobiGlas → Journal. Note the points added to your event track. If you want to estimate remaining solo runs, divide the points you still need by the points you actually received per completion, rounding up; do not assume the PTU's 6,000-point award still applies.
If you play in a party, do not use the solo calculation. The LIVE patch-note text says contract points are divided between party members. The earlier PTU route's claim that every player receives the full award conflicts with that rule and should not be followed for LIVE planning.
Step 7: Repeat or switch contracts
If Medium Supply Haul remains available and the first run worked correctly, accept it again. You can also switch to salvage, fabrication, smaller deliveries, or combat. The event FAQ repost confirms contracts are replayable, but the PTU claim of zero cooldown has not been separately confirmed for every LIVE server.
Alternative Ways to Make Progress
Smaller deliveries: If your ship cannot carry the Medium Supply Haul shipment, check Medical Aid Delivery or Small Supply Haul. Read each offer's specific cargo and route rather than assuming it is simply a smaller version of the medium order.
Salvage: Accept a Materials Order, identify the exact requested construction material, collect it with a suitable salvage ship, and hand it in at the assigned destination. Test one completion before stockpiling materials. A PTU community route describes 43 Small Materials Order hand-ins, but its claimed 140-SCU stockpile would not cover 43 deliveries at 4 SCU each; do not use it as a reliable shopping list.
Fabrication: Accept a Fabrication Order, set up an Item Fabricator, find the contract-attached TH-01 Propulsor blueprint in its terminal, craft the required items using the materials displayed there, and deliver everything specified by the mission. The TH-01 blueprint is a mission tool, not one of the SecondWind milestone rewards.
Combat: Pick a Foxwell contract suited to your weapons or ship. Bring appropriate ammunition and medical supplies for ground work, or check fuel and armament before a space encounter. Confirm the final mission state after the last objective.
SecondWind Rewards and Community-Recorded Milestones
The six items and their order are stated in the event FAQ repost and the LIVE patch-note repost. The specific point thresholds below come from community records, not an independently verified official LIVE progress table. Your in-game Journal takes precedence if the values differ.
| Tier | Community-recorded cumulative points | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 10,800 | S-38 "SecondWind" Pistol |
| 2 | 18,000 | FBL-8a "SecondWind" Light Armor |
| 3 | 30,960 | P4-AR "SecondWind" Rifle |
| 4 | 41,040 | ORC-mkX "SecondWind" Medium Armor |
| 5 | 57,600 | Lumin V "SecondWind" SMG |
| 6 | 72,000 | ADP-mk4 "SecondWind" Heavy Armor |
These are cumulative thresholds in the community table, not six separate point targets to add together. The six SecondWind milestone rewards are finished account-attributed items, not crafting blueprints. After reaching a milestone, verify it in your Journal and check Account → My Hangar on the RSI website.
Account attribution does not mean that a physical item lost in-game can necessarily be reclaimed immediately. Check current RSI item-recovery guidance if you lose an equipped reward.
Common Problems and Fixes
Orison Relief contracts are missing
Make sure you are in Stanton, then reopen Mission App → Priority and look for the Orison Relief prefix. If contracts still do not appear, reconnecting may help, but it is not a guaranteed fix. Confirm the event's current availability before assuming you need reputation or a new ship.
Mission cargo is missing at pickup
Compare your current pickup marker with the freight terminal you're using. Check every assigned pickup if the contract has multiple locations. Alpha 4.10.1's patch-note text reports fixes to multi-pickup cargo distribution and missing hauling freight, but a fix in patch notes is not proof that the problem cannot recur. Avoid buying replacement commodities until a contract explicitly allows them.
The freight elevator will not respond
Check whether the platform is occupied or a transfer is still running. Try a different terminal or an alternative elevator serving the same assigned storage, if available. Do not leave additional valuable cargo on an unresponsive platform. If this contract is blocked, a different Orison Relief activity may be more practical than repeating the same broken pickup.
The delivery does not complete
Check the exact destination, commodity, and required quantity. Verify that the freight terminal has accepted the cargo into storage; simply dropping boxes onto the platform may not complete the hand-in. Follow any remaining mission prompt, then review the Mission App before departing.
The Journal or My Hangar does not show the expected reward
First confirm that the contract completed and that your Journal reached the next milestone. Reopen the Journal, then sign in to the correct RSI account and check My Hangar. If the account reward remains absent, document the milestone and report the issue through RSI support or the Issue Council. Do not use Character Repair as the first response to a missing event reward.
The official Alpha 4.10.1 Known Issues page describes a separate issue in which mission history looks blank after relogging even though completed-mission credit is retained. That does not prove every missing event-point display is merely visual.
Orison Relief Support FAQ
When does the event end?
The community repost of the event FAQ gives October 7, 2026. Check for a subsequent RSI announcement if you are playing near the deadline.
Do I need to be at Orison to accept a contract?
No. You can accept Orison Relief contracts anywhere in Stanton through the Mission App's Priority tab.
Do I need to complete all 14 contracts?
No. The FAQ repost says contracts are replayable and contribute to one reward track. It announces 14 contracts, while the available community list identifies only 13 by name; this guide does not invent the missing title.
Can I finish the event with only cargo missions?
The documented Medium Supply Haul route is designed around repeatable cargo completions. Whether it takes twelve runs depends on your actual LIVE points per completion and any progress you already have.
Are rewards split when I play with friends?
The LIVE patch-note text says points earned from a party-completed contract are divided between party members. Check each player's Journal after the first shared mission rather than relying on PTU reward calculations.
Do I need an ARGO RAFT?
No. The RAFT is the ship used in one PTU-tested hauling example. Choose any suitable ship that can physically fit and transport your current mission's required containers.
Are the SecondWind rewards blueprints?
No. The milestone rewards are finished items granted to your RSI account. The TH-01 Propulsor blueprint is attached to fabrication contracts and serves a different purpose.
Where do I check progress and rewards?
Check event progress in mobiGlas → Journal and account-attributed milestone items in RSI Account → My Hangar.
